Peloton Therapeutics

Biocenter at UT-Southwestern Medical Center

Peloton Therapeutics is an oncology drug discovery and development company advancing first-in-class small molecule therapies that provide patients suffering from life-threatening diseases with new therapeutic options.Project included studies in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Tissue Culture, NMR Spectroscopy, and  a Vivarium. Peloton was acquired by Merck & Company, Inc. in 2019.

Texas Innovation Center

Dow Chemical Corporation

Global research and development hub for Dow Chemical innovation

and commercialization markets.  WGI was brought to the project by

the Design Build Contractor to verify utility data of more than 4,000 pieces of existing equipment to be relocated to the new facility. The

WGI Master Equipment Matrix included heavy process equipment, extruders, injection molders, materials testing, custom fabrications

and analytical instrumentation.

TTU Innovation Hub at Research Park

Texas Tech University

Research laboratory focusing on commercial startups.The research

park provides resources for faculty, Texas Tech's students and entrepreneurs in the community to launch new ventures. The

concept for the building was designed to be highly collaborative

and flexible, with the capability to support a variety of studies

including Chemistry, Biology, Genomics, Maker Space and Plant

and Crop Sciences.

Microelectronics Clean Manufacturing Facility

Micropac Industries

Garland, Texas

Serving the military, aerospace, medical, and industrial markets

for more than 50 years, Micropac’s new manufacturing facility consolidated three manufacturing locations in Garland. WGI developed the utility matrix for more than 1,200 pieces of

existing microelectronics equipment in addition to heavy duty engineering, welding and process equipment. Working closely

with the design team, WGI also assisted with workflow optimization and space programming for existing needs and future expansion.

 

Pathology Lab

Biocenter at UT-Southwestern Medical Center

Relocation and consolidation of labs in multiple locations on

UT-Southwestern campus to the Biocenter. Specialties include Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics, Microscopy, Microarray, PCR, HLA, Flow Cytometry & Stem Cell. Incorporated more

than 600 pieces of existing and new equipment, as well as accommodation for future growth.

DDPU Research & Development Lab

Domestic Distribution and Purification Unit (DDPU) is a GMP

facility producing high-purity lead-212 (212Pb) for the

development of Targeted Alpha Therapy (TAT), an innovative therapy in fighting cancer. Areva Med’s U.S. Headquarters also houses its subsidiary, Macrocyclics, the global leader in design and manufacturing of chelating agents and high quality chemicals for nuclear medicine. Labs include Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biology and Nuclear Medicine/Hot Lab.
